Hi guys!
So, I'll be gone for a while since I'm in the middle of exams right now, and I think it's best if I take a break from blogging. 2 weeks maybe?
In that time, if you guys have any reviews you want me to do on a product I've mentioned in my blog, or something random you want me to talk about, feel free to leave a comment on this post and I'll get to it as soon as I'm free!
Thanks for all the support!

K talk: high kick through the roof
Hi guys!
So I literally just finished watching High Kick Through The Roof and currently balling me eyes out right now. Don't want to spoil it too much but for those who are looking for something to watch, this is a must! definitely part of my top 10 dramas to watch now.
It's pretty much about two sisters that live on a mountain because their father is hunted down by loan sharks. They help two hikers that are lost because of this, they are found by the loan sharks which they have to flee by going to Seoul (capital city in South Korea). And the rest is pretty much about how they survive and the relationships they build with the people that help them on the way.
It's a great laugh and there are some serious bits of course. With comedy, a bit of horror, 'old people' love, one- sided love, and love building from hatred. It covers pretty much all genres!
There's 126 episodes (which I know is a pain in the ass) but each episode is only about 20 minutes, and it's definitely worth the time! The one thing I'm angry is, is about the ending (like with pretty much all dramas I've seen). It's not the lack of emotions in the ending, but how it's ended. I think I spoiled it too much so I shall stop there. But if you were thinking of watching a Korean drama/comedy show (as they call this) then this must be the one to start off with! I wish I watched this earlier! Have you guys seen this yet? What did you think of the ending?
watch it here!
P.s: while I was watching this, I think I fell in love... With the doctor in this drama, Daniel Choi. Super cute, tall, and everything you would want in a guy!

First Impressions: Illamasqua
Hi guys!
So I literally just came back from the city and I wanted to share with you all my first impressions of Illamasqua. I've always been really interested in their products and since they have put down their prices in Australia, I though to myself "why not try out their products?"
Good points:
I swatched a few blushes and foundations and they are sooooo pigmented! I was so excited about it I decided to buy a blush and foundation.
I'm really happy with my purchases and can't wait to experiment with them!
Bad points:
oh boy...
I wasn't sure which shade to get the foundation so I asked the assistant that was there. She was really nice and helpful. She applied some products on my skin... and that's when it all happened.
She started applying the primer- it was ok
Then she applied the foundation- that's when I had a bad feeling in my gut.
She pumped a HUGE amount on the brush and started to apply it on my face. The process of application was ok, but then she started to apply foundation on my lips... WTH?? My lips felt dry and chapped today and applying a thick layer of foundation over them wasn't going to make it any better. After she was done, I saw my face become this hot pile of CAKE FACE!! My face didn't feel heavy or dry at all, but my skin looked sooooo dry and cakey! I didn't take any pictures because the pictures wouldn't be a proper representation of how my face really was.
Then she applied the blush that I purchased along with another blush that was hot pink with glitters in it. I looked in the mirror to see my self looking like a drag queen! NO JOKE!! I didn't want to be rude so I just said that the colour was "nice".
The last part was putting gloss on my lips. She applied WAY TOO MUCH gloss on the brush and all of the product just went on my lips. The colour was a light pink but since I had foundation on my lips, I literally looked dead!! Because she put too much on my lips, it felt super sticky and gross and of course, migrated so that most of the product ended up on my teeth!
After I payed for the products, the first thing I did was find a toilet to fix up my face. T_T
If you couldn't tell, I'm very unhappy from this experience! I'm sure all of the products that was on my face today is great quality, just the assistant wasn't very "good" at putting the make-up on my face. I honestly don't think I'm able to trust a stranger with putting on my make-up anymore. I know my skin type and I know how I want my make-up to look. And I'm sure that no-one else in the world wants to have a cake face, now do they?

The battle of the Gel Eye Liners
Hi guys!
I own quite a few gel/cream eye liners and I thought it would be interesting if I did a test on them for water, wear and oil conditions.
I own quite a few gel/cream eye liners and I thought it would be interesting if I did a test on them for water, wear and oil conditions.
From top to bottom, left to right:
Tony Moly Backstage Self-Smokey eye in #1 Grey Smokey, Tony Moly Backstage Gel Liner in #8 Khaki Black, Maybelline Eye Studio liners in Black and Brown, Innisfree Eco Gel Liner in #1 Black
Swatched from left to right:
Tony Moly Backstage Self-Smokey eye in #1 Grey Smokey, Tony Moly Backstage Gel Liner in #8 Khaki Black, Maybelline Eye Studio liners in Black and Brown, Innisfree Eco Gel Liner in #1 Black
As you can tell from the swatches, these are quite pigmented. The brown liner from Maybelline I had to put more layers on for a more even coverage.
Rubbed 4 times
Rubbed harshly
As you can tell from these pictures, the Maybelline liners didn't last well when it came to the rubbing test. I found that this also translates on my lids. Whenever I wear these on my eyes, even with eye-lid primer, these would smudge around my eyes and sometimes migrates down to my lower lash line.
I was really surprised with Innisfree! No matter how much I would rub, it wouldn't budge!! I was saving this until I run out of liners to use, but I think I'm going to use this liner from now on!
Water test
Surprisingly these barely smudged when I soaked it in water! Both the Tony Moly liners and the Maybelline liner in brown smudged slightly, but not very noticeable. Again, Innisfree did not budge at all!!
Oil test- using Lancome BiFacil eye make up remover
Of course with a super strong oil make-up remover like Lancome, these liners melted away.
My personal favourite is the Tony Moly liner in Khaki Black. It's more of a green based black with gold glitters in it. It's super natural on the eyes and isn't too harsh like a black or brown, and it barely smudges around my eyes.
I was quite disappointed on the Maybelline liners. They claim to last 24 hours, and it's raved by so many bloggers and youtubers, but the performance of these are quite bad compared to the other liners.
Overall ratings:
1. Innisfree liner in Black
2. Tony Moly liner in Khaki Black
3. Tony Moly liner in Grey Smokey
4. Maybelline liner in Black
5. Maybelline liner in Brown
If you're looking for a new gel liner to try out, definitely go for the Innisfree liner. This can be quite hard to find, but if you can get your hands on it, then definitely do so! Will be doing a B.B cream test in a few days so keep your eyes out for that ^_^

Review: Etude House Shini Star B.B Cream
Hi guys!
This review is going to be on the Etude House Shini Star B.B Cream, which I mentioned in my G-Market Haul.
Honestly the reason I got this was because SHINee was promoting this product and I wanted it to have it ^_^ but when I actually gave this a go, it really surprised me! It covered my redness really well and evens out the skin tone great! It has a slightly matte finish to it so I would imagine this to be nice for those who have normal/slightly oily skin. This does have a slight floral scent to it, but not noticeable when applying on the face.
This product claims to have whitening products, but I haven't really seen any lightening of scars.
blended
- covers redness well
- slightly matte finish
- reduces the looks of pores
- has a pump
- has SPF 20/ PA++
- super cute packaging
- looks good for about 5 hours
Cons:
- doesn't come with a lot of product compared to other B.B creams (only 30ml)
- only comes in 1 shade
- can look shiny after 5 hours
Would I repurchase this? definitely! As of right now, I think this is the best B.B cream I own and have tried. I use this pretty much everyday and I love this to bits!
